Beyond the Bottle is a labor of love born from reflection, resilience, and a deep-seated belief in the American spirit. My writing is where the personal meets the political, all filtered through a lens of Red, White, and Blue. I believe in our country, and more importantly, I believe in the people within it.

My Journey & My "Why"

As a person in recovery, I’ve learned that the hardest paths often lead to the most beautiful destinations. Recovery gave me the clarity to look at the world around me and see not just the divisions, but the potential for Unifying Us Together.

I write because I have an unwavering hope for humanity. I truly believe that when we look "beyond the bottle" and past the noise, we find that we have more in common than we think. I'm a firm believer that the truth doesn't have a side; it only has a light. I’m just here to help turn the lamp on.

Life, Love, and the Ocean

When I’m not at my keyboard, I’m soaking up the inspiration that only the ocean can provide. The rhythm of the waves reminds me that there is a constant, powerful force for good in this world.

A Mother’s Heart: Being a mother is my greatest calling. It’s the reason I’m so passionate about protecting our future and finding common ground.
My Furry Crew: I’m a proud pet parent to a dog and a cat who keep my home full of life and laughter.
My Partner: I’m happily engaged to my favorite person, who stands by me as I share these truths.
