Update: The Puerto Vallarta Convergence – A Call for Full Transparency

By Clara Liberty February 23, 2026

Following my recent article, the situation in Jalisco has shifted dramatically. With the confirmed death of Nemesio "El Mencho" Oseguera Cervantes yesterday (Feb 22) and the ongoing release of the Epstein Files under the 2025 Transparency Act, the public is observing a series of undeniable geographical and chronological overlaps in Puerto Vallarta.

While these events are developing, three critical "dots" require objective investigation by federal authorities to ensure national security and public accountability:

Geographical Overlap:

Declassified flight logs from the Epstein Library (released Feb 2026) pinpoint specific "safe house" coordinates in Conchas Chinas. These coordinates directly align with the military cordons established during yesterday’s operations.

Infrastructure & Security:

The files highlight "third-party security" used by international visitors in Jalisco. We must ask if the permits for these security teams were authorized by officials now appearing on the Bondi PEP List, potentially creating a "protected corridor" managed by local elements.

Financial Pipes:

The recent Treasury sanctions against Elemento Ltd and linked timeshare networks in Vallarta suggest that the financial "plumbing" used to wash cartel funds may have intersected with the logistics used by the Epstein network.

The Path Forward:

This isn't about theories; it’s about transparency. As American citizens, we support the efforts of the DOJ and the Mexican military to dismantle these criminal structures. However, true victory requires that the "insurance" or digital evidence recovered in these raids—specifically from the villas in Conchas Chinas—be handled with full oversight. The goal of this follow-up is to advocate for a "Red, White, and Blue" standard: No more secrets, no more protected lists, and no more impunity.
