I have filed my non-profit paperwork as of yesterday-BAM! ( Probably won't hear anything for a few days since I e-filed on a Sunday),but I am not sure what other fees are going to come along with it, and I have to keep the website a float, and this will be creating a charity of its own now as long as everything goes smoothly and everything is properly processed...fingers crossed. (Which is super exciting!) This will now (as long as everything is approved) will becoming its own non-profit organization ,so you will actually see proceeds going towards Beyond the Bottle.
It will now be my responsibility to take those proceeds and distribute them towards substance abuse and mental health organizations across North Carolina. I really prefer to start closest to home, however, right here in Onslow County. Yes everyone, we do have a substance abuse crisis right here at home. I’ve been doing some research and found certain places that I can donate proceeds to that really need funding to properly help people the way I wish I had gotten help years ago.
Sober living homes don’t always work properly like they’re designed to. We need a proper CLEAN rehab here in Onslow. Where you can take all your prescribed medications and you’re not restricted. We don’t have one.

We don’t have a rehab at all. Yes, we do have a crisis center for short stints, but that’s it. We need to make emergency Medicaid available to people who are in crisis and need rehabilitation instead of prisons. Man, I’m dreaming. Anyways Good morning, everyone.
